Being able to actually save money on your next family vacation, it's possible and I'll show you how next on Good Steward Living TV.
When we think of vacation, we automatically start thinking about what it's going to cost us. From travel to food to expensive theme parks, you can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars and I'm here to show you how you can keep more money in your pocket, so you can spend on creating memories on your next vacation. Here are three ways that you can save money on your next vacation.
The first is, if you've accumulated points in hotels or airlines, use those to offset the costs of your hotel or your flight. Or if you're taking trips with family and friends, get a suite and split the cost.
The second way you can save money on your next vacation is to stay in a suite with a kitchen, why is that? Because the average food cost for a family of four for a week, could be 14 hundred dollars. If you buy groceries, cook the food in your suite, you can save a thousand dollars per week. More money for you to enjoy the vacation or to put back in your savings account. The third way you can save on vacation is, if you need a rental car, go to your insurance agent ahead of time, see if you already have enough coverage so you don't wind up paying twice for the same coverage you already have. If you do that, you could save another three hundred dollars per trip. By trying out these three tips on your next vacation, you could actually come home with a little extra cash to start planning your next vacation.
